Features:

ChinaMedDict.com offers medical and general dictionaries that can be used to search information in Chinese, pinyin and English.
There are also a number of useful language tools, including a character search facility and a pinyin converter to help convert between Chinese, pinyin with tone marks and pinyin with numbers, e.g. 你好 --> nǐ hǎo --> ni3 hao3.

Get Involved

This site is free to use and open to contributions from the community. If you would like to get involved by writing an article, creating a new useful Chinese language tool or in any other way, please contact me and we can discuss your involvement. All contributions will be credited on either the About Us or the Credits page, depending on your type of involvement.

Responsive Design

A responsive design was employed in the building of this site to ensure optimal presentation of content on desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices.

i18n & L10n

This site uses internationalization (i18n) to identify the user’s locale and will automatically switch to either Chinese (zh) or the default language, English (en) based on the locale of the user’s browser (ISO639-1). Localization (L10n) standards were also employed in the creation of this site to ensure continuity of translations throughout.
To switch between locales, select either “EN” or “中文” from the main menu.
